Roster of Endorsed Pastors
If desired, pastors may associate with, and identify with, the Augustana District’s theological commitments and Ministry Standards by gaining a “designation” beyond their LCMC “certified pastor” credentials. This added designation is called the Augustana District “Endorsement.” Churches of the Augustana District are not required to call pastors with this endorsement, but will view it as an added asset during the call process. Pastors do not need to be serving an Augustana District congregation to receive this endorsement; we welcome all pastors who embrace our theological commitments to join us. The Augustana District Pastoral Endorsement is gained through a process with the district’s Board of Theology and Ministry – the board which administers oversight and accountability for the district’s pastors. The endorsement process involves the submission of written materials and an interview. Pastors interested in gaining the Augustana District Endorsement should contact the Service Coordinator.
